Release the "special" button to launch the droid at whatever you were targeting. The super battle droid will keep firing its laser, allowing you to target and destroy gold objects, or even other droids. Using the Force on a Super Battle Droid will lift it up in the air. Release the "special" button to toss the droid in that direction. Move the droid in the direction of other objects or droids to target them. Using the Force on a Battle Droid will lift it into the air. Aside from being able to manipulate objects in the environment, you can also use the Force on various enemies to assist in your combat. In addition to lightsabers, Jedi and Sith have a variety of different Force powers in the game. Be careful, as you will be limited to Force attacks without your lightsaber! Your lightsaber will do one hit of damage to the objects/enemies it hits.
Move the targeting reticle over the object(s) that you want to hit, then release the "attack" button to throw your lightsaber. You can throw your lightsaber at enemies or objects by pressing and holding the "attack" button. Simply holding the attack button will deflect the bolts, but not back at the attacker. Bolts will be automatically deflected back at your opponent as you swing your lightsaber. You can also deflect blaster bolts that are shot at you. You can deflect lightsaber attacks simply by holding down the attack button. Perform this move near a Droideka to take out their shields. This move is also unblockable and does one point of damage. To perform a Jedi Slam, simply double jump, then press the attack button. The next special move you can perform is called a Jedi Slam. This is a good way to clear out large groups of battle droids so you don't get overwhelmed.
This will still do one point of damage, but it is unblockable. You will leap forward and perform an overhead slash. To perform a downstab, simply jump in the air and then press the attack button. The first special move you can perform is what I call a downstab.
Some enemies (like Super Battle Droids, Droidekas or Tactical Droids) will take multiple lightsaber hits to defeat/incapacitate. Each lightsaber hit deals one point of damage. However, there are some "fancy" moves that can help you out at various stages of the game.Īs mentioned earlier, just spamming the attack button will perform a continuous combo. Spamming the attack button is honestly a pretty effective way to get through the game, as the combat isn't too challenging. You'll be spending most of your time controlling various Jedi, so it is important to know the basics of lightsaber combat.
